3. BPA has Snicker on Sale at 1 st and 2 nd lunch for $2. Purchasing a full-sized Snickers
bare will help the BPA team.
4. Seniors, Local Scholarship Application deadline is Today! Please see Mrs. Johnson
with any questions
5. CTE applications for next school year need to be completed and turned in by March
14 th .
6. Seniors, MID in Mt. Pleasant will be hosting Mock Interview day on Friday, March
10 th . You would be gone from 8 am to 11 am. If you are interested please sign up in
the office by Wednesday, March 1 st .
7. All Dual enrollment Students need to meet with Mrs. Johnson in room 232 at the
beginning of Dual Enrollment hour on Thursday March 2 nd . Please bring your
chromebook with you.
8. Any 7 th /8 th grader who wants to sell candy bars may stop in for a box with a signed
permission form. Once you sell a box, bring your money and signed envelope to get
another box to sell, if you wish! Fundraiser goes until March 24 th .
9. 7/8 Student Council meets Today in Mrs. Sprague’s room during WIN.
10. 7 th Graders will have mentoring on Thurs 3/2 during Win with their mentors.
11. Any 7th or 8th grader interested in participating in Track and Field this year, please
meet in Mrs. Hubble’s room during lunch Today.

Due to the inclement weather, the BJSH student of the month presentation scheduled for Tuesday, February 28th, has been canceled. The rescheduled date for BJSHS student of the month is March 7th, next Tuesday.

Events Results: Youth Wrestlers at State Tournament @ Petoskey. Eli Roe and Leland Love both brought home State Champ Titles!!
Boys Varsity Basketball Lost to Gladwin 39-57, Layk Woodruff 13 pts & Reese Longstreth 11pts, 11 rebounds.
Girls Varsity Basketball won against Gladwin 47-40 bringing home the Cedar Cup trophy.
Congratulation to the Girls Bowling team on placing 2nd in the MHSAA team Regional and advancing to State. Becca Claypool placed 5th and Ellie Minkina placed 10th in Regionals also heading to Single State Competition.
Forensic Team MAZE tournament, Ford Kingry placed 5th in informative, Hunter Rumfelt 10th in Storytelling, Olivia Smith placed 5th in DI. Forensic placed 3rd in Small school entry.

Congratulations to the girls basketball team for beating Gladwin last night and winning back the Cedar Cup Trophy. JV and varsity boys basketball both lost to Gladwin. Boys basketball hosts Lake City on Tuesday. Girls basketball begins MHSAA DIstrict play in Houghton Lake on Wednesday at 7:00 and will play winner of Pinconning and Harrison. GO RED!

Tonight's basketball triple header in Gladwin tonight is still taking place: JV boys at 4:30, Varsity Girls at 6:00 and Varsity Boys at 7:30 p.m. Please note that the Gladwin Football State Championship Ring Ceremony is taking place after the jv boys game tonight. GOOD FOR YOU: Students of all ages and their families are invited to join us for Family Health Night at Beaverton Schools next Monday, Feb. 20 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at BES. We'll have a light dinner and snacks, healthy games and activities and a great time with good folks.

The Forensics Team competed against 24 schools from across the state! There were 350 students competing in 16 categories. 21 students per category on average. Great Job team! You worked hard. Kaylin Noll received a 2 in her 3rd round!

7th grade boys basketball beat Harrison 26-20. Aidan Elkholy led the team with 10 pts, Jack Blades had 6 pts, Ty Wicke and Archer Lamson each had 5 pts.

1. Want to play Nintendo switch games like Mario Cart and Super Smash Bros? Then
join the E-Sports team! We meet M-TH 3:30-5pm in the library. To join you need to
have your adults fill out the Ignite Enrollment form from the office. There is a
requirement of having no more than 2 E's to participate."
