1. 7 th /8 th Student Council will be working on the homecoming banner in room 230
(Mrs. Sprague’s room) in the morning before school and at lunch Mon-Thu. All
interested 7 th /8 th graders may come and help with this the banner will be in the
parade on Friday.
2. This year’s 1 st meeting of Beaverton’s BPA will be during WIN on October 12 th in
Mrs. Wagner’s room, Room 155. Come see what it is about.
3. Community member looking to hire a couple of students who can load a U-haul
with packed boxes on the last Saturday of October, no furniture involved. More
information available in the office.
4. Afternoon CTE: There will be no afternoon CTE buses provided this Friday due to
pep assembly. Students should work in library until pep assembly.
5. Spirit Week participants will be counted all week in WIN class, must be in class in
order to be counted.
6. Homecoming dance this Saturday 8-11pm at the school. Tickets are $5 and will be
sold at the door only.
7. Sophomores finished their float. We will cancel float building for Thursday.
8. Sophomore walkers need to report to parade line up dressed for their theme by
4pm Friday.
9. High School Fall Sports Team will be dismissed at 2:00 on Friday to meet by the
gym to line up for the pep assembly.
10. 9-12 graders will vote for Homecoming King and queen in WIN class today.
You must be present to vote.
11. Homecoming T-Shirts are in and will be distributed during lunches today. If
you are not here during lunch, please see Mrs. Hubble.
12. Reminder: Mentors-You will be mentoring the 7th graders today in their WIN
class. Stop into Mrs. Sprague's room for your red folder. Mentor guide is in the
classroom or you can pick one up in Mrs. Sprague's room before you go to mentor
today. Wear your green shirts!

The Beaverton varsity volleyball team lost the match against Gladwin this evening in 3 straight sets
Lady Beavers volleyball team dropped the 2nd set to Gladwin 25 to 11.

BEAVERTON FANS are invited to today's Jack Pine Conference Cross Country Jamboree that will take place at the school in order to showcase our new track and stadium. The first race begins at 4:30 p.m. The football bleachers or baseball bleachers will be a great place to watch the races! VOLLEYBALL competes for the Cedar Cup Trophy and is battling for first place in the JPC tonight in Gladwin. JV begins at 6:00 p.m. and the theme is "Red Out." GO RED!

at Owosso Speedway. Damian's wins included the feature front wheel drive sports
car national race. He was faster than all of the older drivers! Congratulations
