What a day at the State Final Track Meet! Taylor McCormack finished 16th in the long jump with 14'7.5". Noah Coffey had an AMAZING day! He finished 3rd in the 100m with 11.28, 2nd in the long jump with a huge PR of 22' 0.50" , and 4th in the 400m with another PR of :50.68! Noah's performances totaled 19 team points for Beaverton and he earned All-State in all 3 events. Way to go, Noah!!

Mackinac Island Field Trip.  We are leaving this Saturday promptly at 6:30 am.  Being 10 minutes early is the best.  We are not waiting for late arrivals.  Drop off at the front of the school building. Bus lists are posted in front of Ms. Coughlin's room.  The weather is looking like high 50's, so dress appropriately, and wear comfortable shoes for walking.  Don't forget money for lunch and dinner and any souvenirs you would like to purchase.  We should be back to the school for pick up at 9:00 pm.  2. Clare Police Department is holding a Youth Police Academy this summer, July 11-21st. Sessions will be held Monday-Thursday from 8am-4pm. Flyers are available in the office or please see Misty Johnson in Room 232 for more information. 3. Wrestling meeting for 9th -11th graders on Monday in room 234. Anatomy and physiology students finished up the year with an examination of the fetal pig. These students have worked very hard all year and have learned so much about how all of the organ systems work together in complex and amazing ways. I am very proud of these students and their dedication to such a tough course!
