BJSHS criminal justice CTE students did a presentation today during lunch. Students were able to use a drunk driving simulator and sign a pledge banner. The CTE criminal justice program is a great opportunity for our students who are interested in going into the field.

2. 8th - 11th grade students: The PSAT and SAT assessments will be administered next
Wednesday, April, 13th.
3. Attention Senior students: Seniors will NOT be required to report on Wednesday, April
13th. It is highly recommended that you conduct college visits, meet with a military
recruiter or begin applying for jobs on this day. Students that wish to attend CTE
programming AND will need transportation need to sign up in the office Today.

The Beaverton Junior Senior High School would like to congratulate all of our March student of the month candidates.
Baseball Team loses to Breckenridge tonight 1-4 and 10-14. Varsity baseball and softball travel to Mt. Pleasant Sacred Heart on Thursday and JV Softball hosts Sacred Heart on Thursday.
Softball wins its season opener tonight vs. Breckenridge 7-6 and 4-3, both games walk-off wins! GO RED!

Woodruff today in order to go on the trips.
2. The Beaverton Football Video Game Tournament and Breakfast takes place on Sunday,
April 10, from 2pm-5pm, at BHS. Cost is $5. (Please note the time change - we're still
having breakfast.) The coaches will provide the TVs and food. You bring your game
systems and favorite games (don’t forget your cords and batteries). Hope to see everyone
there.

Students will return to class once their club photos have been taken. Teachers will receive
rosters indicating which students are in which clubs. All students involved in clubs at

The state of Michigan requires spring, summative assessments each year. These assessments will begin on April 13th, 2022. It is imperative that students are in attendance during their assigned assessments. Mrs. Sprague’s 9th grade science classes wrapped up their project on cells! They provided a “cell factory tour” to explain to our younger students how the cell is like a factory. It was a fun filled day for sure! Great job 9th graders!
Thank you to Maggie Retelle, a triathlon athlete and nutritionist/wellbeing coach, for speaking to the Beaverton Track Teams today about the importance of nutrition. Thank you to Coach Eichbauer for coordinating this valuable presentation.

1. Friday’s schedule will be 5 th , 6 th and 7 th hours for the half day of school. AM CTE student
need to stay and attend their 5 th , 6 th , and 7 th hours. PM CTE may attend afternoon CTE.
