2. HALLWAY BREAKS DURING CLASS TIME: Students are reminded of the new rule this school
year that when you ask to leave class during class time, students must leave their cell
phone in the classroom while out of the room. Thank you for your cooperation moving
forward leaving your cell phone in the classroom when leaving class on a break.
3. Did you miss out on getting a yearbook from last year? We have a few extras. They are $45
per book, cash only. See Mrs. Jorgensen in room 146 while supplies last!

5. On Saturday, October 16th at 7:30 there is going to be a Fall Bowling Challenge for all fall
sports teams to participate in, each fall team needs a bowling team of 5. See Taylor
McCormack to sign up, registration is due by Wednesday the 13th and it is $20 per person
or $100 per team (sponsors are allowed).

Beaverton 8th grade students attended Manufacturing Day at Vantage Plastics. Students got a hands on experience of how some items they see everyday are made.

learning more about this community service Club opportunity, please attend an
informational meeting to be held Today during lunch in the library. Please get your food

Club and becoming a member and begin planning for this year’s activities.
7. Seniors/Class of 2022: Joe Fox from Herff Jones will be here on Today to discuss
graduation. Meeting will be held during WIN in the library. Send your ideas for Class
motto and song to Mrs. Kintner (via email).

Event Results: At the Beaverton Invitational cross country meet last night, Tessa Wohlschlegel came in
3rd in the varsity girls race in 22:04. Taj Finney was 8th in the boys race with a personal best 18:55.
Payton Corrigan was 15th in 20:53.
In the girls middle school race Myah Hubble was 4th in 11:18 for the 2.5k race. And Riley Sprague was
21st in 13:02 in the boys race

VOLLEYBALL GAME VS. GLADWIN ON WEDNESDAY: All students will get into this game for free. It's a "Pink Out" Game in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This is an important game for 1st place so we are hoping for a huge crowd.

Event Results: Cross Country JPC #2 at Meridian. In the girls varsity race Tessa Wohlschlegel ran a big
PR of 21:57 for 17 th place! In the boys varsity race Taj Finney came in 22 nd with 19:32 and Payton
Corrigan was 29 th in 20:28. Myah Hubble was 7 th in the middle school girls race with a PR of 14:03! And
Riley Sprague had a big personal best in the middle school Boys race, placing 38 th with 16:27!

There will be no varsity football game this week due to Farwell going to 8 man football and the inability to find a new opponent. There will be no JV game this week as well. JV is scheduled to host Gladwin next Thursday and varsity will be traveling to Gladwin next Friday.

1. Middle School Volleyball Players: Pictures will take place right after school before practice
in the elementary gym. Please get to the gym as soon as possible and get changed quickly
for pictures. Pictures forms are in office if needed.
2. School Pictures are scheduled to be taken October 5th. Picture forms are available to be
picked up in the office.
3. Wednesday, October 6 th is Student Count day. This is an important day to be in attendance
on this day.
4. Clarification on Student Handbook forms, The Technology Form needs to be completed
and turned in. The Technology form is different than the Device form that was completed
to receive the Chrome Book.
5. Academic after school Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 3:20-4:20.
6. DRESS CODE: Thanks for everyone's participation in the spirit days for Homecoming. Now
that it's over, please make sure we are not wearing hats or hoods in the building and are
back to following dress code rules.
7. NEW FURNITURE IN HALLWAY: Thank you for not sitting on top of the tables and taking
great care of our new furniture, so it stays nice!
