Welcome back! I hope everyone has been having an enjoyable summer. I have several announcements I would like to share with you tonight about the upcoming school year. As a reminder, we have our district open house on August 25th from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. 7th & 8th grade students will have an orientation in the gym starting at 4:30pm. 9th through 12th grade students may pick up their schedule & chromebooks beginning at 4:30pm. Prior to any student revieceving their district issued chromebook, they must have a signed user agreement on file which requires a parent and student signature. The user agreement is available on the school’s website under the news section, school office and the night of the open house.
As a reminder, since every student will have a chromebook, cell phones will no longer be used or allowed during class time. All cell phones will be collected at the beginning of each class period. Students will be able to check their phones during lunch and passing time.
Beaverton Schools is only offering in-person learning this school year.
