band room.
2. Senior band and choir members meet Today (3/16) during 1st lunch with Mrs. K in the band
room.
3. Attention Football Players: Iron Man testing takes place this week during weight room hours.
Bring proper shoes and workout clothing.
4. Boys Basketball and Pom Pom Parent Night will be tonight. Sign up sheet is in the office.
5. Girls Basketball Parent Night will be March 19 th . Sign up sheet is in the office.

Girls Basketball gets a huge win over Farwell tonight to gain a 2 game lead for first place in the conference. The girls host Pinconning on Wednesday in the elementary gym at 6:00.
Boys basketball vs. Farwell tomorrow is at 7:00 and parent night.

4. Drama people, parts are posted please make sure you initial this morning. Practice tonight 3:30-
5:00 in Mrs. Kintner's band room. You need your script and a writing utensil.

Boys Basketball battles back from being down 7 points at the half to win in Pinconning 60-51. Beavers are now 12-0 and host Farwell on Tuesday at 7:00
Wrestling beat Frankfort and lost to Mancelona and Reed City in today’s home match. Team Districts are in Beaverton on Wednesday at 6:00 with Coleman and St. Louis.
Congratulations to Beaverton Senior Bowler, Xander Dell, for being named Jack Pine Conference Most Valuable Bowler and First Team All Conference.

Girls Basketball defeats Meridian 51-36 with a great effort at both ends to remain in 1st place with a 10-1 record.
The Beavers have a one game lead over the Farwell Eagles who they host on Monday at 6:00.

Boys Basketball defeats rival Meridian tonight 45-35 to continue their 11 game winning streak. The boys travel to Pinconning for a noon varsity start on Saturday.

1. If you missed the HS track signup in the Library. The sign-up sheet is in the Office. We would
love to have you.
2. Junior High and High School Students interested in joining the Equestrian team should sign up in
the main office by March 12th.
3. Get your song, skit, or dance ready!!! Virtual Mock Rock 2021 is on!! Sign Up Sheet for those
interested is in the office. More details to follow once participation is determined.
4. Drama people if you are interested in auditioning for the Spring Madrigal pick up a script from
Mrs. Miller in room 146 this week. Auditions are this Friday, March 12th right after school.
5. Hitting barn will be open Wed and Thurs after school for bb/sb players and on Saturday at 10
for softball.
6. Beaverton Jr/Sr High School’s National Honor Society is holding their annual Coaches vs Cancer
fundraiser! They are collecting donations of any amount and they are selling heather gray t-
shirts that say “Beaverton High School Coaches vs Cancer” in red, for $15 each. Get your orders
in during lunch. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.

Event Results: Varsity Girls Basketball won against Harrison – 55-27.
The Beaverton 7th grade boys took on the Shepherd Bluejays in a Jack Pine contest last
night, winning 55-31. Landon Love led all scorers with 22 points, and defensive
performances by Eric Larsen, Riley Cross, and Caden Snyder led the way. Great job
boys.
8 th Grade Boys lost a tough one 29-28 to Shephard last night. Blake Calhoun 11pts,
Wyatt Bordeau 8 pts, Lincoln Stoike 6pts.

Girls Basketball wins big tonight over Harrison to remain at the top of the conference with an 9-1 record. The girls travel to Meridian Friday night for a 6:00 Varsity Start.

Beaverton is hosting the Division 4 Team Wrestling Districts next Wednesday, March 17th at 6:00 in the jr/sr high school.
Coleman and St. Louis wrestle at 6:00 p.m.
Beaverton will wrestle the winner immediately following.
Digital tickets will be sold through Go Fan. Leftover tickets will be open to the general public on Wednesday, March 17th at noon. The ticket information will be shared on facebook and school website.
MHSAA will be releasing the basketball district brackets this Sunday afternoon and information will be shared through our media outlets.
Beaverton is allowing 375 fans per game for the boys basketball district and Harrison is allowing 375 fans per game for the girls basketball district. Both sites will clear the gym in between games. Available tickets for the general public will become available the day of the game at noon.
